It is all linked to improving the function of your spine and its relationship with your nervous system, therefore improving your overall wellbeing.

We understand that each patient has different needs. Our aim is to focus on delivering quality care through a chiropractic experience that not only heals specific musculoskeletal ailments but also promotes improved overall wellness.

Our philosophy is centred on working alongside you to empower you to invest in your own health outcomes and maintain your body’s optimum condition now and in the future.

Our experienced, compassionate team offers a unique approach to modern care, skillfully combining the soft tissue therapies of a physiotherapist or osteopath with the more traditional structural and neurological chiropractic work, resulting in a well-balanced care profile for our patients.

More About Our Techniques

We have outlined more information on some of our more common techniques below. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

This technique is the main manual method associated with the “cracking” sound. Surprisingly, these sounds—perfectly normal—are actually adjustments caused by a change in the pressure of the joint and the formation and audible collapse of a nitrogen bubble. The process is called a cavitation, and a similar effect happens in nature in the underwater attack method of the pistol shrimp!

Back on dry land, the cavitation itself has little or no therapeutic effect. The therapeutic effect actually comes from the movement of the joint and the associated changes in neurology. The aim of an adjustment is to restore ideal movement and alignment of the spine and limbs to relieve pain and prevent recurrence of injuries. These techniques are very comfortable and often people feel better quite quickly, which is due in part to an endorphin release as the body begins to heal itself.

This technique is a comprehensive, gentle and holistic chiropractic system of analysis of the relationship between the sacrum (our foundation of support) and the occiput (base of the skull). It aims to assist the pumping of CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) from the base of the spine, up the spinal canal to the brain and also lubricate the nervous system and joints. Essentially, this assists the circulatory system of the brain and spinal cord.

This method may be used in pre-conception care, during pregnancy, for babies, adults and through to the elderly. Whether you are non-active or an elite sports person, SOT aims at balancing and keeping the body functioning at its own optimum level.

This technique is based on over 50 years of research and utilises a very expensive and specialised table. The method applies the law of inertia by using segmental drop pieces of the table to adjust joints of the spine, pelvis and peripheral joints. Many people enjoy this technique as it gets a similar effect to a manual adjustment without the cracking sound.

This technique focuses on detecting and correcting misalignments that the body cannot self-correct as there is no muscle (or combination of muscles) that can pull in the direction needed. When this occurs our body “twists”, or uses other muscles pulling in other directions, to compensate. Over time, with many such misalignments and compensatory twists posture deteriorates and symptoms can develop. These symptoms cover the myriad of conditions seen daily in chiropractic practice. The importance of posture should not be underestimated.

When correctly applied, ABC™ practitioners world-wide frequently observe consistent and predictable improvements in postural stability, marked by the ability of the patient’s body to stay more “effortlessly upright”. Due to the influence of postural balance on human physiology and function, patients frequently report improvements in other areas, such as pain levels, improved mobility and ease of breathing.
